We went over to Blue Ash Airport Days last weekend (September 23rd). Here's some of the stuff we heard and saw. (The images are stored at 1024 x 768 if you want to click through for more detail.)
A parachutist with the E Team from Mason (Ohio) dropping with a 5,000-square-foot, 70-pound flag.
Audio of bagpipers during military tribute and presentation of the flag. I'm a sucker for bagpipes playing "Amazing Grace." Actually, I'm a sucker for bagpipes in general. Also "Amazing Grace." (As for the completely useless video: you're welcome.)
The aerobatics begin as The Firebirds swing into action.
Video of a fly-by. (The resolution sucks because a small someone had apparently been fiddling with the settings...)
The scene on the ground...
Stunt cyclists. Don't try this at home!
Really. Don't try this at home.
I mean it. Trying this at home is a bad idea.
Really. Seriously. Do not try this at home. Ever.
Wa-hoo!
Panchito, a B-25J Mitchell Bomber presented by the Disabled American Veterans. Great guttural engine sound! It's taxiing here; the fast shutter speed has frozen the props mid-spin.
