I think the year they gave Phil Collins the Oscar over South Park was the year I officially stopped caring about Oscars. I still regularly listen to that soundtrack album, even if I haven't seen the show itself in years. Bergman did some great work for those guys.

It really is a tour de force--they certainly deserved at least one Oscar. (Their comment on the loss was typically over the top: at the end of one episode, Phil Collins winds up with his Oscar shoved up his nether regions.)
